2025—UPDATE
HI!!!! Those of you who have known me prior to my "Just Paws" retirement venture know how much I love to spend time with kids. Recently I decided I need to go back to spending more time with them. I will now be taking a 'Lunch Hour' at my business and spend that time at school volunteering in the lunchroom to get my kid fix.
I will be leaving here at 10:30 and returning @ 12:15 each day Monday through Friday when school is in session. Please work with me to help you meet your needs for dog care and grooming while I meet my need for interaction with children. Thanks so very much!!!!
March 18, 2025 Update!
Hello Everyone! This post is to let you all know I am making some business hour changes. My pet business venture is going excellent thanks to all of you! My personal time is in need of some changes, though. In an effort to meet the needs of my clientele, I have not been very good at balancing the personal part of my life. I am going to make some changes that I hope will continue to meet your needs and still leave me a bit of space for me. Right now, I am starting at 8:00 am and ending my workday around 9:30pm. It is a bit too much.
I am going to leave the 8:00 am start (earlier drop-offs can be arranged with me if necessary) I will be stopping with pick-ups and drop-offs at 6:00 pm most days so I can start the last run with dogs and feeding time for the evening. (later drop off can be arranged with me if necessary). By making these changes will hopefully end my workday at closer to a 12-hour day rather than 14. Fridays will have an earlier close time (5:30 pm) so I can take my grandkids to church for children’s time. On Sundays, I will be opening at 1:00 rather than noon and closing at 6:00 for pickups and drop-offs. Tuesdays will still be my cleaning days and I will still leave at noon to give space for my wonderful cleaner to do her magic – dogs get to spend their afternoon napping in their crates, but arrangements can be made for pickup and drop off if necessary.
So, the hours of business for clients will be 8-6 Monday – Thursday and Saturday, Friday 8- 5:30, Sunday 1-6.
